Peat’s Thoughts: After having Longrow’s cask strength and Red Carbernet Sauvignon, it was hard to say no to this lovely dram. Finished in Tokaji casks, which I swore was Japanese, but turns out is Hungarian, this malt has a smokey sweetness to it. A lottle bit of burnt sugar almost, that is by no means a bad thing if you’ve ever had Caribbean stew chicken. Can’t say it’s better than the cask strength, but definitely a decent whisky.
Cheers
