It’s been a long time coming, but we’re back, and taking this thing seriously. So allow me to reintroduce myself; my name is Peat. Pe to the A-T. And I love whisky. But by now you already know that. Hopefully you’ve seen our Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, whatever (yea, we’re trying to be all over the place) and you’ve found your way here to figure out just what the hell it is we actually do. Well, let’s break it down. I’m an architect in Washington DC with a masters of advanced architectural design from Columbia, Finn is about to embark on his masters in Industrial Design at SAIC in Chicago, and Neat is finishing up his masters in Urban Design at Columbia in NYC. We’re basically three guys who love whisk(e)y , but more importantly, love design. So with that out of the way, I’m proud to say that our venture of Whisky + Architecture is making strides. Since we’ve started this thing, we’ve gained a decent following and educated ourselves on many a whisk(e)y, purchased quite a few bottles to start our collection, and helped spread the word about some of the coolest architectural designs in our humble opinion. We’ve found “homes” at local watering holes in our respective cities, and developed relationships with the staff and management. It’s been a great ride thus far, and it’s only the beginning. Very soon we plan on hosting our first whisky tasting event in DC and it will be an understatement to say that we’re excited. A lot of things have changed in the past few months, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is a new chapter in our lives, and it is my hope that you join us on our journey.
